Recently I’ve begun treating photography as more than just a hobby again. This weekend was another big step with the purchase of a prosumer photo printer. This goes along with recent purchases of new camera bodies and glass as I made the switch from Nikon (which I’d been loyal to since I started in the 1990s with film bodies) and crop sensors over to Sony and full frame sensors. Why didn’t I just stay with Nikon and go full frame? I felt like Sony was really leading not following the full frame market. Ironic that I return to Sony when one of the first digital cameras I had was a Sony point and shoot with a variable lens.
