Like many people out there I’m super frustrated with social media and it’s algorithms showing me what it thinks I want to see as well as the unscrupulous tracking and marketing practices they employ. To that end, I’ve been toying with the idea of getting rid of my social media accounts. Already I don’t use Facebook. I still have my account so my blogs can still post to it and generate traffic but I’m not actively posting anymore on my timeline.
I do still use Instagram but more and more it’s becoming part of Facebook and all the things I don’t like about social media. It too may soon be thrown by the wayside.
