Setting up Apache, MySQL and PHP with all their libraries on a fresh install of Linux can be a pain in the butt especially if you’re in a hurry or busy multitasking (read: keeping the carpet crawlers entertained). But if you want to get your own web server up and running in a matter of minutes without having to hunt down packages then here’s a great walk through on setting up a LAMP server on your Ubuntu 10.04 machine.
