I’ve found that the best camera is the one I have in my hand at the time I take the photo (who said that?) and that means more and more I’m taking photos using my iPhone. They don’t come out bad, but they’re not the same as if I took them with my Nikon either.
Originally I took this image with my iPhone without any processing. After the fact I started noticing you could post-process photos using Instagram. Playing around in Instagram I came up with this really cool effect. I love how the colors rendered from dark oranges to yellow to light blues to dark indigo on the other end of the spectrum. I think it came out really good and has a warm, summer feel to it.
