Ubuntu 5.10 has been released with a significant number of changes. I’m in the process of updating the home server right now. They’ve added a “server only” configuration for those looking to run a Debian core server without all the GUI stuff. Me, I like all the GUI stuff so I’ll be reinstalling a complete system.
You can download an ISO by visiting the downloads page. There are also Live CD’s if you don’t want to install on your hard drive.
Once the home server is up I’ll be mirroring the torrent file of the ISO (using Azureus) to help spread the love. It took about an hour for me to download the 600mb ISO.
