Yesterday I spent a good 40 minutes trying to piece together the remains of my fence that had blown down due to this latest storm to move through California.
In case you haven’t been following, we’ve been getting hit, hard. While the rest of the nation is freezing we’re drowning. Today’s weather forcast from the local TV station:
A second powerful Winter Storm is here and will remain with us through Monday. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Sierra High Country and foothills through Monday. Low snow-down to 1500 feet or lower is possible. Be prepared for blizzard like conditions this weekend. Travel is not recommended.
More wind and periods of heavy rain in the Valley, Delta and Bay Area. An Urban and Small Stream Flood advisory is posted for the Central and Southern San Joaquin Valley through Monday. Be prepared for localized flooding as our ground is already saturated. Embedded thunderstorms are also possible this weekend!
Someone send me a towel.
