Life is best compared to the iPod. Everyday is a withdrawl and everynight is a recharge. Eventually the battery runs down faster and faster and takes longer to recharge. Somewhere along the way the cute little Mini’s come and everyone goes goo-goo-gaa-gaa over them. The old iPod gets shoved off to a shelf and forgotten until one day the battery can no longer hold a charge and the iPod is discarded. Sometimes a new battery or a new hard drive is put in giving the iPod a new lease on life and sometimes, when the battery doesn’t work like it used to, the unit is left plugged in, a reminder of what life without wires once was.
