While over checking out the new Apples on the Tree I also caught the Apple announcement about Motion, a new graphics animation program made to fill the hole in Apple’s video suite previously held by Adobe After Effects. It wasn’t really motion that cuaght me offguard though, it was the page for Motion and the Final Cut Pro Suite, a complete departure from the “white as color” look that has become the Apple trademark as of late.
It’s a very nice look, IMHO, and meshes very well with the new look of OS X Panther and the brushed metal interfaces. I’m a little disappointed they chose to make the page using tables and not CSS. Wouldn’t be that hard to recreate the page using CSS.
