Tempted by Zempt…

Ok. I downloaded Adam and Bill’s Zempt and I must say, it’s pretty nice. I think my favorite part is that you don’t need to know your path to your XML-RPC file like you do with some applications. Zempt automagically discovers it and loads it and your blogs in. Perfect for people just getting used to blogging who don’t have the more advanced skills yet. Radio users will admire the interface.

One of the things I like the most is the “Edit a Post” feature. A listing of your posts is generated along with a preview that allows you to physically see the post and then check it’s contents to verify it’s the one you want to update. Nice.

  1. I’m loving the spell-checker as well, which I’ve been missing since I switched to Firebird. Oh … and the Windows Media plug-in support that lists the “listening to …” stuff is very cool as well, just for fun.
